My LDL cholesterol is a little high. Imust eat foods with good cholesterol to help me lowering my bad cholesterol, including fish ( with omega -3) ....but what about shrimp?

Although shrimp are high in cholesterol it is a good type of cholesterol that lowers LDL and raises HDL. Shrimp does contain cholesterol, but it is very low in saturated fat and that is the type that raises the bad, LDL cholesterol. Most people realize that elevated cholesterol is an important risk factor for heart disease. The higher the blood cholesterol, the greater the risk of heart disease. Most people may not realize, though, that cholesterol in food is not the main influential factor in raising blood cholesterol. It is total fat, especially saturated fat that raises blood cholesterol.-

You are confused. Good and bad cholesterol is in you not in foods you eat. They have plain cholesterol which does not affect your cholesterol since if you eat some it produces less. Saturated fat and foods with added sugar affect your cholesterol.

So meat and dairy are bad. Fish would be good but man has poisoned the sea. Eat lots of fruit and vegetables and flaxseed for omega-3. Just follow the ninja warrior diet t o be thin and healthy. See site below.
