Simple question; will the tingling and itching stop after a certain time? Two years, maybe? I'm at 1 year 5 months since I was infected by a female friend who assured me there was no need to use a condom. Yea I know I was stupid, I just need hope that the discomfort will come to an end.

There should be no tingling feeling at all if you have HPV. If you have genital warts you might have some itchiness, but that goes away once the warts are gone.

If you have a constant tingling in your genital area I'd suggest you see a doctor as soon as possible.

I have had HPV for 6+ years. When I had genital warts from my HPV I had some itchiness and redness, but that went away when the warts did. I've never had constant tingling, ever.

Good luck!
