I shall assume that the parent's house is out of the question, right? Are there any other friends or relatives who's home would be a good alternative? $500 isn't much to do a party on if you have to include renting a site. Some ideas might include:

1. A nice restaurant that serves the girls' favorite kind of food. Most restaurants have a banquet room that you can reserve and some for a nominal fee as long as you order off of a prix fix menu.
2. A skating rink is also a nice alternative. Many have large areas that can be sequestered off for a party.
3. Miniature golf and bowling alleys also come to mind because they have built in "games" for guests to enjoy.
4. If the weather is decent, you can try to rent space in a park or picnic ground, but it gets iffy this time of year.
5. You might be able to rent a nice tent for someone's yard at a reasonable rate, and sometimes they include tables and chairs. Again, you have budget constrictions!

Food should be kept simple, but interesting:

1. Pizza
2. Hot dogs with mac and cheese
3. Turkey rollups
4. Chips, dip
5. Gourmet hamburger bar
6. Ice cream sundae bar
7. Spaghetti and meatballs

ETC.

Your parents must be nuts to give $500 to a silly girl who cannot even spell WHERE. As in: "Where should I have a party?"

WERE is the second person past of the verb to be. As in: You were entrusted with $500?

They should use that money to hire a tutor for their daughter.
