You sound as if you had some type of arrhythmia and you need to see a doctor asap. Even if it is fine when you see the doctor, give him your symptoms and he may want you to see a cardiologist and maybe have a stress test to see what the heart does under a controlled stress. It could be atrial or ventricular problems meaning the upper chambers or the lower chambers, either way it is not normal and not good to let it go on. Please make an appt asap or talk to the MD and tell him about it and he may want you to come into the emergency room to be evaluated. I cannot stress enough how dangerous this isand how important to do something about it asap.

you do need to see a doctor to rule out any serious problem- but from what you described it sounds like a panic attack- i have them all the time and they feel like heart attacks or like your heart is gonna give in and stop, basically it feels like you could die any minute but you wont so dont worry. I get them really bad and every time they scare the **** out of me!!! Just breath through them and try to calm yourself- i found the best way was to ring somebody up for a chat to take your mind of it. Also breathing into a paper bag helps and running your hands and wrists under cold water.
But you do need to get checked out at the doctors on the small chance you may have a heart problem but im sure its just anxiety attacks. These can be treated by your doctor as there are some great pills out there to control them and councilling could help if they become very bad and effect your day to day life.
Hope this helps

Better if you go to your doc and get a check up. Something like this is not to be taken lightly. I am a long time heart patient and will be for the rest of my life. And yes , it could have been a light heart attack. The feeling of your arms being heavy, numb is a sign of it. Know that from experience!

You were experiencing a Heart Palpitation. It's caused by a number of things. I use to get them after drinking a large number of cups of coffee in school. Since I cut down the cups of coffee and switched to tea, that has stopped happening.
Read the info, it should help.

I wouldn't say heart attack is out of the picture, people have heart attacks and don't even know it sometimes. You should go to the doc unless you want it to get stronger.

You probably had a small heart attack, or constricted your blood flow. Go to the Emergency Room or doctor.

Avoid stress and stimulants, do physical, and eat healthy diet, don't overeat before going to sleep.
There is nothing wrong with your heart.
However do a routine check up with your doctor.
