Facial tics can be due to many reasons, and one is from vitamin and mineral deficiencies.

Try some Stramonium, made from thorn apple

ive had a lot of ticks in the past and all had the common denominator - consciousness. Just dont think about it. If you DO do it, catch yourself in the act. You feel the urge to do it because youve just gotten used to it. Sometimes ticks are just ways to release excess energy. So do something productive to keep your mind on other things.

Sounds almost like Tourettes type thing. You just can't help doing it..like the pressure builds so much that you just have to do it even though you don't really want to.
It could also be a manisfestation of a type of OCD - compulsive behaviour.

A doc could really help you with this.
Dont beat up on yourself - just relax and do it if you have to until you get some help
Goodluck

It's going to take time, but try to stop yourself before you do it. Create a diversion by busying yourself until the urge passes. As time goes on, you'll have forgotten that you do it and you'll have solved your own problem!

If its bugging y ou, go see a doctor. Even if you stop this, you'll end up doing something else....you really need to see a doctor to stop the compulsive behaviors by taking meds. You'll be happier in the long run.

every time you do it, you should slap yourself hard and maybe you won't do it again. i often clicked my finger joints. every time i clicked them, i pinched myself hard. you should try it to. punish yourself like this
