I have particular dreams that influenced me more powerfully than others that I remember. Some of them were good dreams, but most were nightmares. They made an impact on my whole day when I woke up, and I'm sure my brain was certain to remember them as it must've seen it as a "trauma", and your brain never forgets trauma because it's trying to protect you from having it happen again!
if you want it interpreted, here's a good site:

You remember a particular dream from years ago, because it was significant to you in some way. You should try posting the dream in as much detail as you can to see if you can get an interpretation, and also note in posting it, how old you were at the time, and some things that were going on in your situation at the time, as these may have some bearing on it. ... the earliest dream I remember ever having was when I was about 4 or 5, I had been watching television before bed, somewhere along the line, Wonderful World of Disney, and Wild Kingdom got merged together, and I had this dream of all this Disney stuff that ended abruptly with an image of a fierce Cougar roaring in my face (now that I come to think of it, I think that might have used such imagery advertising Mercury Cougar...) I was so scared by the sight of the cougar, I sat bolt upright in bed! What the heck was that all about???

I have many dreams from over the years that I keep remembering every so often. Many many swimming pool dreams (bodies of water mean spirit to me), couple of rides in boats floating out to sea in the dark, one canal dream where I was a water creature and lived there. My flying dreams I will never forget, nor the dreams of my spiritual visitors/higher beings who tried to teach me things, especially the dream where I was taught how to leave my different bodies until I became just a point of existence and knew everything there was to know. I do not forget the dreams I have had of my late father either, letting me know he is ok and still around. I believe our dreams of the past that stay with us are important somehow, and I dont worry about all the others that dont merit a place in memory, as surely they cant be so important.

My dreams would be bitchin movies.
I remember this dream from over 35 years ago (I am 43) of my mom buying me a new Schwinn "Orange Krate". It was sooooo real. I was out there in the back yard getting ready to ride. Smilin real big, but then I realize I am all alone and I start getting scared and then it is dark and I am still holding on to this bike but now I am freaked out cause I cant let go of the stupid thing it, is attached to me..... then I wake up. It was so real that I look out the window to see if the bike was really there... that is the oldest dream that I can remember

Yes I do. I have alot of dreams I remember and some I dream more than once. One of them is I'm in a small boat with about 10 other people. It's night and the water is choppy. There are several other boats out ther too. Anyway... I don't know anyone. We all hear and see loud noises and what looks like fire works (roman candles) in the sky. Everybody is looking up, screaming and they wonder what's going on. I say, " it's Jesus coming back to take us to Heaven, I'm so happy and i see everyone floating up to Jesus"then I look back down in the boat I'm in and I'm the only one there except the devil and he said"everyone made it except you," and he laughs this evil laugh . I scream "NOOOO"! then I wake up. Isn't that scary?

>> I had a recurring dream which started when I was about 3-4 years old & would recur 2-3 times a year for about 3 years.
Was very scary.
>>I always went into a large triangle glass building where all these metal robotic monsters came after me.........They were all different & I'd always wake up just when they'd cornered me & everything would go black.
(My parents were fans of DR. Who & I think it may have started after I saw an episode with the Daleks in it)

I remember a strange dream I had when I was 4 or 5. I'm 27 now. I think it's really odd how it's stuck with me for so long.

Yes its strange, i sometimes have dreams, and in them i go to a place that i went to in childhood dreams. Yet it could have been 20 years since I last dreamt about the place. And It is an a place i go to only in my dreams, I don't know if it really exists, but its a big funfair and i am there with all my family.

Yes... I remember when I was a child... I used to have a recurring dream about being in a field of flowers of one color. Then, I'd notice someone observing me. When I stand up and see her there..... I would realize I was in a perfect cubic square and the woman could not enter this area......
She would unravel her tongue from one end of the field, from the outer edge, to where I stood...... and I would scream bloody murder.....
this went on for years.... Until I had my first prophetic dream.... then, I saw a witch in a book... who could do just that..... I never dreamt it again.....

Ginger,

I seem to remember the details of my dreams more vivid than the details of today or yesterday.
sometimes there is so much detail in my dreams that i will write the info down so I can try to understand where the dream came from or seem to be going.
