Of course not. The freedom of religion is strictly protected in Hong Kong. The laws used in Mainland China do not apply to Hong Kong because it is a special administrative region (S.A.R.). For example, I am a Roman Catholic in Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Catholic Church has offical ties with the Vatican. I can go to church freely and openly every Sunday without fearing that I will be taken to jail. This is the same case as in Macau, a Portuguese colony which was returned to China.

Christians, Muslims, Taoists, Buddhists and so many other religious followers are free to practise their beliefs in China.
Criminals, though, will be shot dead irrespective of religion or no religion. So far, no atheists have been shot.
