updating drivers is always free.. however it looks to me like it's more than a driver issue. dimension 1100 is an entry model and quite outdated and the game you're trying to play is pretty much new. That computer also has an onboard graphics chip -- which most probably is not supported by the game. You either need to upgrade your video card or buy a better computer to play it a decent framerates and good visuals.

That won't play anything. Mainly because a Celeron 2.53Ghz CPU is a Netured Pentium. The celeron has lesser L2 Cache and disabled instructions.
And 256mb ram is bare minium these days.

Number two Most brand name computers only use Onboard Video. Those are only built for Desktop/internet and basic 2D games nothing fancy. Im going to bet its a Intel Wussy Graphics.

You just need to find someone who can build a cheap gaming pc for you. I would recommend a duo core Intel cpu 2gb ram and 250gb HDD and Nvidia 7800 pci-e or better. This will set you back about $500

Stay away from HP, Emachine, Gateway, Dell, Compaq, And others.

you can go to dell.com and then determine your hardware specification n then go to driverguide.com n download your new drivers.
