It is a scientific view. All organic living matter goes through growth, cell division, life, cell aging, and eventually death. It is a cycle which sustains life, withough death, life as we know it wouldn't function.
Illness is the mutation of natural cells due to catalysts or likewise. We age because we are programmed to serve the purpose of procreation and then die, just like every other living thing on the planet.
There is no glorification of the afterlife, no mystical reasons. It means you really life your life to the full. There is no re-birth, no heaven. Death is final, life fragile, and at the same time strong and full of emotion

I don't understand the question, are you saying what do we think since we don't believe "God" caused you to get sick? Well I believe the scientific explanations of why we get ill and age. If you got sick it's no one's fault, it just happened, you were unlucky. Aging and death has to happen to accomodate the new life that we keep producing. I want to live forever, but I'm not sure that everyone has that same dream.

Who cares?
Believe what you yourself want to believe and don't let other people's views affect your own. Don't try to impose your own views on others who are quite competent enough to make their own decisions, no matter how ill informed they might be (or how you might conceive them to be).
I never got why trying to find out what someone else thinks about something is so important. As long as their opinion is something that would lead them to murder (trust me, there are as many religious folk as atheistic folk who would murder because of their beliefs) or harm others, just leave them be, they don't affect you.

I'm confused by the question. How exactly does one's view on theology affect anything related to health?
