for a project i need to capture 13 pictures of soft light...any idea what things i can take pictures of? with soft light on it. (sun or lamp)

Just remember "soft light" is diffused light - light on an overcast day. Light reflected from a wall or ceiling. Light through a lamp shade.
Portraits taken under soft light are really flattering.

combine it with soft focus and badda bing nice images,
try floral on overcast days, or anything really in a studio,,,,people can look good in soft light with soft focus : sort of "porn" focus if you know what i mean
