I wonder how Sir Isaac Newton would have responded to that. After all, he spent more time and wrote more on the veracity of biblical prophecies than he did on ALL his other works, famous scientist that he was and still considered one of the greatest scientists who ever lived.

Some parts seem to have historical validity like Ezra and Zechariah, even though they are pretty distorted. Note that these historical sections deal with the times of Cyrus and Darius mostly. The rest of it is basically just simple mythos and fables.

well many of the people in the bible DID exist, there is proof of that. You are thinking of all the stories and exaggerations in the bible, and yes most people are aware that they most likely did not occur the way the bible says they did
