if Jesus walked through the streets of Jerusalem today; I believe Jesus would start a major clean up on the spot and finish with major clean up around the world.
Remember when he walked through GODS house and wrecked the place because they had made it a den of thieves?

Throughout history, there have been people of all backgrounds (Jewish or otherwise) who were willing to believe, and people who were not willing to believe. The gospel of Jesus Christ is currently being preached in many nations and not everyone who hears it automatically believes. I have no reason to doubt that things would be any different in Jerusalem.
As for the crucifixion part of your question, I tend to agree with the previous answerer who said that the Romans are long gone.

You have to understand, Jesus looked like any ordinary man. He had no distinction like a glow around his head, white robes, or an ID card that said "The true Messiah".
If Jesus walked anywhere on this Earth today, no one would recognize him

They may have him evaluated at a mental hospital but I think that is as far as they would take it in these times. People are more educated (less given to superstition) and so they logically think things through before taking such serious steps.
