Yes, weed is bad for you! It cannot be compared to cigarettes bc cigarettes don't cause brain damage or kill brain cells the way weed does. The only comparison is smoking one joint is like smoking 5 cigarettes. Very bad for the lungs! Also, I have friends that I have known all my life that before they started smoking weed and being on it for years were very intelligent and quick thinking. Now, they are so "burned" out that they can barely think at all. It takes them so long to answer even the simplest question, etc. Now, tell me that weed is not bad or harmful and I'll tell you that you are in DENIAL! It's one of the most harmful drugs there are wen it comes to killing brain cells Once they are gone...they are gone for good! You only have so many of them. I wouldn't want to play russian roulette with mine Hope I have answered your question. Good luck!

I thought the same way when I used to smoke it. Always saying nah,it's OK it won't hurt me it feels good and every excuse one can think of to make it seem harmless. Take it from me it's not good it WILL kill you it WILL ruin your life. Don't listen to the people who tell you it's not that bad because they are lying to you. Do something better with your life than throw it away on weed. I have been smokeless for over 10 years now so I do know what I'm talking about.

Well, that would depend on what type of week you are talking about. Rag weed can be awful and you may need to be taken to the emergency room.
If you are talking about the type containing THC tetrahydrocanabinol, the penalties can be almost fatal, considering paying fines, loss of license, loss of job, drug rehab, loss of time attending classes, and expenses for classes. Scrutiny for future employment etc.
It is just ridiculous I would have to say that the disciplinary actions taken on people caught are worse than the drug itself.
I don't advise it for anyone because of the reasons mentioned above.

I don't really think its that bad, I mean... compared to cigarettes, you're probably more likely to die from cigarettes. People who smoke weed tend to do it all the time though.... so... if I had to pick a drug to try thats relatively safe, I'd probably go LSD or shrooms, since they're not addicitve at all, and most likely you wouldnt be doing them often.

Read the book Marijuana Revisited. Its by Dr. Lester Grinspoon....He was against it and after doing extensive research he changed his mind.

YES it is. It's an addictive substance that can damage your brain and get you into a lot of trouble. You should avoid it at all costs.

The question is not whether it is "really that bad", but rather if it's bad at all.
If it's bad at all, why should you be using it? What do you gain out of it?

I've lost quite a few friends to becoming idiots because of that. I have little respect for it.
