I have lived in Canada for 32 years.. I am also an immigrant.. and to some extent I have to agree with you.. We had it very rough back then, and you can be sure that the struggles which new immigrants face today in Canada are nothing in comparison to what many families went through back in the 70's..

All I can say to you is that life isn't easy.. don't think that because you are moving to a "first world" nation, that life is going to be easy.. and that you will be given your choice of jobs..

Lastly, we don't have slavery in Canada.. at least not officially... but the unofficial type exists all over the world.. USA and Canada seem to be leading along with third world countries..

it's tough everywhere in one way or another..

As far as I know Canada doesn't practice slavery and I have lived here all my life. Yes life is expensive here but you can make it if you try. I'm not saying that Canada is perfect (it is run by humans y'know) but there are not many countries that have as a good a track record when it comes to equal opportunity.

I'm willing to share my country with you, but even I'm not entitled to free land even though I was born here and my parents were born here.

As far as a government job with high pay, you can have that too but you have to educate yourself and have better command of either of our two official languages (I hope your French is better than your English).

As usual the answer lies in education and there are ways to get help with that. Sure Canada has problems, like every country, but there are lots of opportunities as well if you are willing to work for them and not just expect handouts.

Canada continuously been motivated by using the US coverage, and all judgements are made in form of duplication. form of shadowy coverage. Canada has made quite a few contributions and has no bills, Canada is on of the leaders to help mandatory international places. yet while it includes stand for Justice, Canada failed the international regulation and approved the US to invade Iraq, and likewise have been given into conflict in Afghanistan following the super brother (the US) Canada is determining that Afghan conflict is a huge mess and desperate to withdraw her troop next 3 hundred and sixty 5 days.

Canadians who were born here pay high taxes too. We have to compete for those high paying jobs too. Most of us don't make that kind of money either. There are many of us who are struggling to survive on a modest income. Most Canadians are more than willing to share this country. Please don't blame most people for the shortcomings of Government officials and Provincial associations that stop professional immigrants from being able to work in their professions here.

The UN is staffed and run by the same kind of parasites that run Canada. If you do not like the terms and conditions of slavery here feel free to go home or any place else on this planet and get riped off there.
