Okay to get this straight.
This isn't me!
This is really my friend.
The problem with suggesting a psychiatrist or a therapist is her therapist or psychiatrist always tell the parents what she says!

More answers please :)

Your friend probably needs the therapist to deal with the fact that she has a fruit-loop family.

Listen, see if she can consider spending as much time away from there as she can. She can participate in more school activities, she can study at a friend's house, she can get a job (or make one) that will take her away from there (and make some $$$).

The trick is for her to get her chores at home done, and keep her studies/grades up so she does not get in trouble. This is a waiting game... she only has to endure a few more years before she hits age 18.

Yes there is definitely a problem here and there is the need for psychiatric counseling. (ASAP) Not for nothing, but I always thought there was something wrong with my little sister, after 41 years I still haven't been able to put my finger on the problem and maybe I found the answer here - the hefa is an "alien", that would explain so many things of the past.
:-) God Bless.

Maybe she can't say anything to her parents, but she can to her therapist. That's what they are for, right? Sounds like there are some serious mental health issues here, that could be hereditary. Stick with the therapist and supportive friends, like you.

Therapists can only do so much. She needs to see a psychiatrist. She's psychotic.

I'm giving you a wonderful resource that can help you find a dr. for her, and give any information you need about her condition.

That's awful! Her family is going to drive her as batty as they are at this rate. I would say, she should speak to someone, but if her Parents are nuts, then they aren't going to help facilitate that. I'm not sure how much you can do, except reassure her of reality when you can.

They are bad parent, really bad one. You should support him...
It's really touching...

Tell "your friend" (we know it's you) that as long as they aren't cruel or evil they are pretty harmless. As long as "your friend" knows reality, who cares.
