I know, it's a vague question. Just give me your opinions on what you do to stop the "inevitable."

If something is truly inevitable, it can't be stopped. But then, there is no way of knowing what is inevitable. After it happens, it looks like it was inevitable. But then, anything that happens in the first place can be said to be inevitable. It's all hindsight.

Just let it go, and let life happen. If you try to manipulate situations, things, or people, you will most likely become very disappointed.

Almost every week a movie or cartoon uses a time travel machine.

I guess the better question is, how do really know something is inevitable until it happens?

A car wreck is not inevitable is there is still time to turn the steering wheel and hit the brakes.

Well, since it's 'inevitable', you'd think that you wouldn't be able to stop it.
Kinda like the fact that it's inevitable that we're all going to die, we can't do anything to interfere with it, we can only enjoy the time we have while we have it.

If I believe something is TRULY inevitable, I take action to make it happen as soon as possible so that I can just get it over with.
