The bible says that God kicked Lucifer out of heaven cause he was bad right? Well if that was true why would Lucifer punish people that go to hell, wouldnt he reward them? Personally I think Lucifer works for God, like a jail warden or something. What do you guys think?

well all your guys points are ok so far but you are all going according to the bible, which was written by man, in mans words, years after everything happened, you cant really go by the bible the writers werent there when any of the stuff went down. How do you know Lucifer was kicked out, i still think him and God work together. I know, Lucifer is Gods oldest son and Jesus' brother!

Lucifer was an angel. He became proud of his own image and began to think he was above God. Then God showed him that no one can. Lucifer couldn't put up a fight since he's just an angel, not God, and was cast down from heaven.

So what did Lucifer in? Pride. One of the seven deadly sins/bad human behaviors, right?

But if you don't believe, what's the point of this question if it's just a fairy tale. Why waste time pursuing "facts" of fairy tales. Pursue facts how to help the homeless, the hungry, how to create medical insurance everyone can afford. I can use that since I don't have health insurance. I pray every night the Lord keeps me healthy.

But you're right in that why would Lucifer punish those going to hell, those going to be with him. It just shows how twisted and two-faced he is. "Come and I will give you pleasure and riches" he says. Then BAM! He makes you rot in hell.

By the way, the Bible was written only 20-50 years after Jesus death and resurrection. We all believe in other historical "facts" that were written 100, 500, 1000 years after the event. Which is more reliable? How many history books do you know were written as it happened? How would they know it's history that should be remember? Many history books are pieces, recollections and soucrces packaged in one book. But the Bible is inspired by God.

I believe that Hell is punishment in itself. No need for more punishment if you go there. Lucifer was thrown out of Heaven because he wanted to wage war there. He was full of vanity and wanted total power. He should be happy here. He has power over a lot of people but his time is running out. Lucifer is everything that God is not. He is certainly not working for God but against him, all the time. Constantly. He has also been called "The Father of all Lies".

Nice thought--if you think Lucifer isn't going to suffer.

The way you present it is deceiving. That's because Lucifer won't be a warden. He will be punished with all the people he's deceived. That is the product of indoctrination. There isn't much detail on hell and lucifer's role in hell. The truth is--he is wicked and all people who has served him are wicked and they will be punished together.

Where does it say that lucifer punishes people that go to hell? Hell, is not a great place to be because of the place it is, not because Lucifer is there whipping you with leather! Anywhere away from the presence of God (once you realize what you could've had) will be a wheeping, whailing, and gnashing of teeth. I don't think Lucifer will have you in a physical prison!

Don't know... but I think you are on the right track... and remember this is personal opinion... I think Lucifer and God made a bet, only the bet is still going on because time ticks by, that Lucifer will get 'more' people on his side than God will, as time goes by, and God said 'you're on'...

Lucifer (before God threw him out) was actually against giving people free will.

Hell is the absence of God, plain and horribly simple...

Who actually ever encountered Lucifer? Hell, in our society, is regarded less as an after-life abode than as a myth created by men with very vivid imaginations who lived thousands of years ago, and like witch-doctors used 'hell' as a power tool for their own aggrandizement. We'll be lucky if there's a heaven. Let's hope God really exists. Beyond that, the way man is treating this planet, it may become as hellish as we imagine hell is.

Read the Bible, Satan serves God purpose not his divine will his purpose. He is thrown into the abyss for 1000 years will Jesus reigns on earth for 1000 years. The abyss is were fallen angels are cast Satan is bound with chains by a mighty angel and cast in until he is let out to deceive the nations once again and then the father God comes back and the Lord. Any way Satan is thrown into the Lake of Fire with the beast and false prophet who had been cast in earlier. Satan is never thrown into Hell this is a different place of punishment. Revelations talks some about these topics.

Whoever or whatever Lucifer is, is a non issue. He was defeated at the cross. The great gulf of fire that is spoken of in the new testament was bridged when Jesus died and rose from the dead. He took the sin of all mankind into his body, bore its consequences, and we all rose together with him. Hell and the devil are no longer an issue for the human race.

Lucifer was kicked out of Heaven for rebelling against God and trying to take over. He was, and still is, jealous of mankind, for we are God's most precious and loved creations. Lucifer wants to torment us to punish God.

Hope that helped.
