Like the Jews, Christians, and Muslims have all done. Would such a group of athiests make the world a better place? If not, then have the Jews, Christians, and Muslims made the world a better place? Are you capable of seeing the paradox here?

art pshco,
You're SO WRONG. The religions I cited ALL TEACH (or have taught) to kill those that don't believe as they do. There is nothing to support your stupid, bigoted statement.

Killing in the name of a religion that condemns murder is tragically ridiculous, isn't it? But how many people have you encountered who professed to be devoutly religious and faithful to some belief system, who also flagrantly violated those beliefs while causing harm to others? Ironic yes, but how very evil. We might actually consider these people satan in disguise, albeit a rather transparent one.

Most definitely, and it had actually happened in the past, throughout the Bible in the Old Testament when you come up across all the pagan nations or people who followed pagan traditions what they did most were sacrificing themselves and others especially their children to their pagan gods. I believe those have killed far more people than any of the Jews, Christians, & Muslims and anyone who follows a false religion or believes that there isn't God is a pagan in my book. Simple and pure -but i won't be the judge of them, I got my own self to improve.

art psycho: saying that if atheists were a majority they would've commited equal amount of sins is quite ironic, they already have!

God bless

Then how come the Greeks, who have been the founders of excellent judgment consisting of Aristotle and Plato, proved the life of God logically? > They lived in an age while claiming that the gods have been in charge for each thing grow to be the only rationalization. undergo in concepts, the Greeks additionally believed that the earth grow to be infinitely previous too. So if the theory in God is illogical, it wouldn’t make sense that the founders of excellent judgment proved God’s life logically. So it’s the disbelief in God that's illogical. > No, because of the fact on the contemporary time issues have replaced. So the founders of excellent judgment suggested that there could desire to be a God, proving it logically. > How? besides, the reality that your disbelief in God is illogical, is as a results of the fact asserting "layout doesn’t point out a clothier" is illogical. > What layout? we don't observe layout in nature (ingesting and respiration for the time of an identical hollow, genetic themes etc.), layout's maximum suitable objective is simplicity, and we are a ways from common. logic tells us that if some thing has a trend, some thing has to have made that trend. That’s logic. That’s our existence journey. > logic hardly coincides with technology, i might recommend reading "The technology of Discworld" for a view in this. which you will end that the entire element had a clothier to layout those varieties is functional and logical. To end that it has no clothier, that it’s all with the aid of accident, it incredibly is unreasonable and illogical. > No, there grow to be no clothier, the clothier thought has been got here across needing. additionally, the assumption of an accident is a fallacy, possibility is an phantasm. Believing that there is a god that prides your theory in him over each and every thing else, who you are able to in basic terms get closer to with the aid of ingesting his flesh and eating his blood, who died and rose from the ineffective without problems whilst making a extensive deal out of it, all because of the fact a clay guy and rib lady ate an apple spoke of to them with the aid of a speaking snake six thousand years in the past in a backyard with (interestingly) dinosaurs, on the different hand, is illogical. do not you compromise?

Atheism is just a logical conclusion that states: There is no evidence for the existence of the supernatural. It cannot be a cult, and it cannot be oppressive of anybody else's view. If logic, instead of faith, had been elevated to the highest moral ground and be taught to children, we would have a peaceful, creative, and productive world.

Do you fear violence and oppression from extremely rational and logical people? Does the world suffer because people are over-using their resoning ability?

Such a group would not make the world a better place, nor would they make it a worse place. This is just like the other religious groups... neither better nor worse

I don't think Totalitarianism works, I think we should all have the freedom to do/believe anything we want as long as it does not harm other people, but if a "Cult" of Atheists really does that my Dad has a revolver and a Shotgun =)

I do not agree that we should kill for that reason. But there are more important things going on right now. How about abortion? EVERYONE is killing babies that never get a chance to breathe fresh air. It's not brought on by us, it's a whole different cult, and yet it kills so many more...

Throughout history, there were only religious cults that killed people because they create their own version of god.
Atheists were never in any cults that kill, and apparently they won't be because of the irrationality of cults.
