"The Only Living Boy In New York" - Simon & Garfunkel.
It is simply the most beautiful song in the world to me and has been since I first heard it as a teen. I happened upon it during a very difficult time in my life and the lyrics and music defined how I felt and made me feel less alone somehow. It was my solace in more ways than I can describe. Love that man, love that song.

The Grand Illusion by Styx from the album of the same name
"Welcome to the Grand Illusion
Come on in and see what's happening
Pay the price, get your tickets for the show
The stage is set, the band starts playing
Suddenly your heart is pounding
Wishing secretly you were a star.
But don't be fooled by the radio
The TV or the magazines
They show you photographs of how your life should be
But they're just someone else's fantasy
So if y on think your life is complete confusion
Because you never win the game
Just remember that it's a Grand illusion
And deep inside we're all the same.
We're all the same...
America spells competition, join us in our blind ambition
Get yourself a brand new motor car
Someday soon we'll stop to ponder
what on Earth's this spell we're under
We made the grade and still we wonder who the hell we are

Well, really, there were two albums that more than any others helped me define myself, musically and spiritually:
U2's The Joshua Tree and Rattle and Hum.
The one song that really was kind of the cornerstone of that for me is "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For."
There was a lot of other music that was "formative", but I wouldn't be the person I am today without that song and those two albums. Peace to you.

Shout at the Devil- Motley Crue. I went to a Catholic high school and this defined that I'm not normal and I can deal with that.

Hello Goodbye? That's the first thing that comes to mind, because as any R&S person can tell you, not everyone says "hello", if you can get what I'm trying to say (it's not the best analogy, but still).
or In My Life... that's a good one.

You are my sunshine
My only sunshine
You make me happy
When skies are grey
You'll never know, dear
How much I love you
Just don't take my sunshine away
My dad would always sing it to me when I was younger, but he died when I was 13.
