OK...so obviously they DON'T hate Jesus, but it bothers me when people condemn gays, making it seem as though they're the worst of the sinners...

You never hear someone saying "thieves are an abomination to God! THIEVES NEVER GET INTO HEAVEN!!!"

Why is it that we forget that Jesus, Himself, never spoke against homosexuality and HE even said "My love comes for all" not "My love comes for all except those weirdo gay people in the west side of the city!..EEEEWWWWW!"

You know?

Do you even know how to read, or do you just see "gay" and start hating on them? How do you know gays don't repent? How do you know anything?

Jesus NEVER said anything in the old testament because it was BEFORE Jesus came to the Earth...are you seriously this retarded?

A sin is a sin in the eyes of God. judgment is not for us to do. we are to love each other like we do our self. we all fall short of this therefore we are all sinners. no man walks this earth with out sin, but through Jesus your sins can be forgiven.

Christians do not hate or pronounce judgment on "Gays". God condemns the practice of homosexuality. It is very clearly spelled out in both old and new testiments.
Jesus did use however, the destruction of the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, as an example of God’s wrath (Matthew 10:15, Mark 6:11, Luke 10:12 and Luke 17:29). Perhaps the reason Jesus said nothing specifically about homosexuality was that "gay lifestyles" were virtually unknown in the Israel of his day. Everyone knew and understood the culturally acceptable standards. Sexual immorality in any form was shameful and not for open public discussion.

Jesus,to my knowledge did not mention rape or incest,either...

That's right thieves don't get into heaven. But God still loves that person anyway. That's why, when he/she repents and accepts Jesus, he will be saved.
Same with homosexuals. It says in Romans`1, 21-32 That it is very wrong. But as with any sin, God will forgive this sin if a person repents of it and changes his ways (with God's help of course, It's possible) Because his love came for all.

Jesus does love everyone. He does not like sin! I mean, if you think about Sodom and Gomorrah, why did God destroy those cities? Because, nearly, everyone sinned. Immoral sexual acts. Just was not in God's plan, ya know?
Everyone can get into Heaven, gays and thieves, if they believe, change their lifestyle and live the way Jesus wants us to, and He tells us what we need to know, in the Bible.

Actually homosexuality is mentioned many times in the Old Testament of the Bible and it is abhorrent to God, sorry. He does love everyone. It is the sin that he doesn't like. There is no sin so bad or so terrible that he cannot forgive. I neither condemn or condone homosexuality. I am no-one's judge. Who am I to point the finger? I have sins. Of course I do. There is not one person who has no sin. Don't sweat is so much. Do the best you can.

Brian what would you think if thieves as you called them said that God made them that away and that makes it okay to steel ????

Often no means hate when that's not what is meant at all.God's word is very clear on this issue as well as those who commit other sins as well.

1Timothy 1:9 "Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,
Vs.10 For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;"

Brian....You are right to call us on this.

However, Jesus DID speak against what we call "homosexuality"....but...God and Jesus do not go by what "mankind had named things that are "wrong" , instead, they name the NATURE of each sin...so, no matter how hard we may try to prove that this or that wasn't spoken about as this and that, we will not be able to do so.... Remember, God knows the workings of a human's mind very well! :)

May you find Peace :)

If Jesus actual did what the bible pronounced he did, issues could be a lot distinctive. question no count if or no longer you believe Jesus' purposes formerly you question Christian concepts.

I am of the firm believe that there are no "levels" of sin. Lying is just as bad as murder in the eyes of God, as well as everything in between.
I am also of the belief that we are to love the sinner, but hate the sin. I strive to love everyone as I love myself. I am not always successful at it. Just the other night, I lashed out at that Aaron Carter troll... which reminds me...

*Edit...
Sheesh! People really don't seem to like it when Christians practice what they preach in here, do they? I posted a public apology to the Aaron Carter troll (which is where that link led), and in return I get a violation notice... nice....

Today the world is holding humanity up in front of Christians and burning it in effigy, mocking those who believe in God as creator, who believe that man is made in the image of God, and those lighting the fire are the ones who say that homosexuality is not a sin.

If you opened your eyes you could see this.
