is there another name for it? its for a 1997 ford f250, 4.6L V8. i am trying to find the part on line, if you could help that would be great.

It's a doughnut shaped gasket that goes between your exhaust manifold and exhaust pipe. To find the part on line it would be "exhaust gasket" . Any parts store will have it for under 5 bucks....changing it is another story.

It is an exhause gasket or "O" ring. Everyone just calls it a doughnut.

The best name for it is "exhaust seal".
