Genesis suggests that "Divine" intervention changed the Universe as it was (God created the heavens and the Earth). From here everything seems to have developed on its own.

So what does Genesis say about God?

No, Genesis implies that that god provided the means for sin "tree of the knowlege of good and evil", decided that everyone was evil and killed innocent children and babies (the flood), and seemed to be very absent except at specific times.

Genesis says that there was more than one god. Man was created from the Gods image. Plural. This means that there was a team of two or more. Genesis 1:26. This is a big problem for religious folks. 1, Either there was more than one being creating man. Or 2, They made a big mistake in the translation, which would you choose. 2 is not supposed to happen. 1 That blows the whole 1 being creating all others theory. HMMMMM! Something smells fishy, suspicious, like rotten lies!!

Nothing that God created has developed on its own and before heaven and earth were created there was nothing. Genesis says: In the beginning the Word was with God and the Word was God.

Gen 1:1-2:5 suggests that as a creature you are accountable to the creator & that you can only produce what you are, therefore pursue Christlikeness &

22:14 Gods nature is to provide for his creation. He reveals himself as the 'lord who provides'

not much in Genesis reveals Gods nature as such.
I am not a Christian.

According to Genesis God's creation was good. By extension of that it must mean that God is good as well.
