just adding some insight to Ashley no disrespect of nothing, but were not only limited to infantry...Im a Air traffic controller and the are hundreds of other job in the Marines

Good point, that way when you're being attacked (since you're first in line) you can show the Iraqi's that you can bust out in some crazy push-ups. They'll spare your life for sure.
I give credit to both. They're both hardcore, but I don't like how the Marines limits you to basically being infantry. There isn't a big opportunity after you're out.
Both deserve a lot of credit though. They're both dangerous, and they both fight for our freedom. So, I'll ever "Semper-Fi" to that. But I'm also giving a "Hooah".

bother are different Marines are usually the first in and the army helps to keep it secure. The Marines are diffenly harder.

I would also say Marines...just because they offer you crap when you want to join but the real meaning makes up for it. Army recruiters have so many funds to offer that you feel really buttered up.
However, both are vital. Its like asking.."Hey, in a marriage, who is better..the husband or wife?".....

Marines. Everyone knows that they go through more intensive training. They just seem tougher!

for me there is no better or worse, we all protect the country we love, but when it comes down to training, marines have the upper hand, when it comes down to field work its a gamble i guess, you have to admit the army has more compromise
