So Stewart is not driving for Harvick Inc. next year in the busch series.....
Do you think it was a mutual decision??
Do you think it was stemmed from the track incident with Stewart and Harvick when Stewart ran Harvick into the wall?? What do you think might be the reason for the 2 parting ways??
What are your thoughts or opinions???

I am a Harvick fan....( as if i haven't mentioned that before...lol )...and i personally think there has been some problems there for a little while!!!

GO HARVICK & RCR!!!

Stewart cannot drive the Chevy, because of the Manufacturer contracts. Stewart and Harvick are still cool, they are both focused on the chase right now as much as possible, but yes, Harvick does "owe" him one, and you better believe Stewart knows this, and he knows it's coming, and they will be friends when it is all said and done.

Stewart will whine when it happens, Harvick will talk some smack, they will call each other on Tuesday after it happens, and bam they will be cool.

This will be my last answer here, to those that were cool, see ya around, to those of you who get offended way too fakin easy, I salute you.

Great Question! But Jim Bob is a bit testy tonite. huh? I think Harvick and Tony are a lot a like. Both are good drivers, and have a passion for racing (which I like)! Tony is my second favorite, and I like Kevin too, but sometimes they both can be their on worst enemies. huh? Come on don't let Jim Bob get to ya, you know Kevin can drive. Right?
Look how well he did last season, he's just had some bad luck thats all.

The only reason is that Tony will be in a Toyota next year. His contract must say that he can only drive Toyota's. That can change with permission from Toyota.

Harvick fan....this is a great question. now that I think about it. I bet it has alot to do with this toyota thing with JGR, I bet Tony won't be able to drive a chevy......I doubt the incident they had has anything to do with it...My bet is on the Toyota Deal..Great Question I hope someone on Trackside or Raceday or Nascar now brings this up, I'd like to know myself.

I agree with Jim Bob. I feel that it has to do with Tony going to Toyota next year.

Since its a new make of car Tony wants to get as much time behind the wheel as possible .

I like Tony & Kevin ,but I like Tony more .

I doubt that has much to do with it!

Try the fact that Stewart will be under contract with a Toyota team? This seems more likely!

Harvick needs to stop crying and focus on running up front! Out side of Daytona I don't recall anything really impressive from him all season!

***EDIT
I directly answered the question in the first 2 sentences! Do you honestly feel Harvick's season has been a good one? Outside of Winning Daytona and "making the Chase" he hasn't done anything! Next year nobody will care if he made the chase becasuse they won't remember he made it! Since Aug 5th he's had 1 top 10! This is not a championship team!
A few simple stats to prove my point that Harvick is an also ran!
Harvick's had 1 win and 4 top 5's, stay with me here!
Montoya also as 1 win and 3 top 5's!
I rest my case!

It's very possible anger could have had something to do with it. Without offending any fans they both do have a slight anger thing going on. Now I do have to admit that Kevin has calmed down a whole lot on the track. As to if it played a role in the decision to cease business relations I don't know.
..One thing that is good about the whole situation is Kevin knew he had a good driver behind the wheel of his car. So as far as the development of his team was concerned all he had to concentrate on was building his team and cars up.
...Now all he has to do is start developing young drivers for his team. So maybe that was his primary goal with Stewart to begin with was to use Stewart to develop his team.

Things haven't been the same since the Indy race, that probably has something to do with it. Also, maybe with Gibbs going to Toyota next year, maybe they don't want him to drive another motor companies car?? I still think Harvick owes him one though..
