I did know that. My seatmate on a plane a couple of years ago was a regional director for AVON. The men were making more money because they tended to work longer hours. Many women treated this as a bit of mad money or a parttime job - something they could do around childcare. The men did it full time.

I would LOVE to have a man sell me my Avon! There are certain guys that know just was is perfect for makeup etc! Great idea,please...just know your stuff! You can't fool too many women if you don't know what goes with what.

I am not sure about it. As an Avon dealer I hardly find customers to buy the products. I think talent in sales are relevant to boost our targets and we have to get the right training and attitude to be in the right path.

Perhaps because men probably know more women then women know women. Maybe its because women like a men that sells feminine stuff. Probably because males are prefered in businesses. You know that whole thing about men getting better pay than women.
