If there was an extra 5 hours in a day that would make it 29 hours that I don't read the bible.

I try reading the Bible as much as I can. I would be lying to tell you that I read it for hours everyday though. I'm the type of person that has to read a few verses and reflect on them for that day then continue the next. Don't get me wrong, I think it's great if someone is able to read the Bible for hours a day...I would just make sure that what I'm reading is sinking in.

As a Christian apologist, I am passionate about defending Christianity, through philosophy and bible passages (even though I am currently a science/engineering student).
I read the bible as a source of inspiration every day. When I am commuting. Some days when I do have free time (rarely, only the holidays) I read whole books, to gain insight on the situation that the person is facing, and how God works through the people. It's amazing how much I still learn despite having read through the whole bible.

Less than one.
Does the number of hours one spends reading the Bible indicate how holy one is?
Does the number of hours one might spend reading letters from a parent indicate how much one loves them?
I suppose that for Christians spending at least a bit of time doing so is important, but I do think there should be much more to Christianity than reading the Bible for a specific amount of time each day.

On average - maybe 3 or 4 hours a week. Some days I read for just a few minutes and some days for an hour or more. Just depends.

I never read the Christian Bible. My spirituality is composed of the tenets of many religions each of which has its own "Bible". Besides I really have difficulty believing that such a loving God would punish his followers. Satan and hell just don't fit into that ideology.
