In The Old Testament we find though God was in touch with many people directly why did He make them to die at different ages?

Yes, I know that God knows us before we were born...but on what basis He decides our death...different for each person? After our birth only sin, sickness etc., all come.

Daniel...its a good question....I looked at similar question and went through the best answers. Unfortunately none of it has a real answer. It is difficult to explain in few words...needs lot of explantion and quotes and facts from Bible..any way I give below my explanation through Bible references...if you need further details please contact me....:"Death does not care who you are, what age you are, how much you have, who you know, or what you know. The facts are in, the conclusion is unmistakable. All will die." Dale Earnhardt, famous, rich, race car driver faced it in turn four of the Daytona Speedway, Princess Diana, rich, beautiful, influential, faced it and lost. Rachel Scott, Cassie Bernall, had it happen on what should have been just a normal day of school. President Ronald Reagan, Alexander the Great. Powerful men also lost the battle to it. Moses, David, Peter, Paul, John, they all faced it. Unless the Lord comes back to take us to be with Him, we will all become entangled it the cold, icy grip of death.
I. We will all face the REALITY of death.
To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven: A time to be born, And a time to die;
Ecclesiastes 3:1-2 NKJV
A. It is a SETTLED issue.
Behold, all souls are Mine; The soul of the father as well as the soul of the son is Mine; The soul who sins shall die.
Ezekial 18:4 NKJV
Since Adam and Eve fell in the garden death has been a settled issue. There is no escape. While on his death bed, someone entered the room and found WC Fields thumbing through a Bible. When asked what he was doing, he responded that he was looking for loopholes. Some say the only thing that is certain is death and taxes. I say that there are loopholes that you can find that will exempt you from taxes. There are no loopholes when it comes to death.
B. It is a SET time.
You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.
Psalm 139:16 NLT
The writer of Hebrews says that it is an appointment. It is one that you will keep. The Bible tells us that God has determined the number of your days. One day it will show up on your calendar. It will be on your to do list.
C. It is a SINGLE event.
A recent study has shown that 1 out of 5 Christians believe in reincarnation. This verse sweeps that idea away. There is no reincarnation, there is no second chance to get your karma right. It is a one time only deal. A once in a lifetime or should I say eternity offer.
We will all face the certainty of JUDGEMENT.
God shall judge the righteous and the wicked, For there is a time there for every purpose and for every work.
Ecclesiastes 3:17 NKJV
TREASURE every day.
So teach us to number our days,
Psalm 90:12 NKJV
If something is a treasure to you, you will not waste it. Don¡¦t waste your life. Treasure them, be thankful for them. Live each one as if you are to die.
C. MAKE THE MOST of every opportunity.
redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
Eph. 5:16 NKJV
Someone said that only what is done for God will last. Make the most of every day by serving Him. Obeying Him. We are to make every day one that will be pleasing to the Lord.
When will it come? How will it happen? I don’t know, and you don’t either. One thing is for sure it is coming. How will you look death in the eye and win? Only by receiving Jesus. If you have never done that, I beg you this morning, please turn to Him

No, because of the fact if the guy is somewhat an atheist, then they have not got self belief there's a large gamble of it happening besides. in any different case, they're agnostic. If i'm approximately to die, I have no reason to look to some thing i don't think of exists. i might besides pray for a pink unicorn to return fly me away. "the phobia of demise will exchange each and every individual, so which you atheists don't be attentive to what you're speaking approximately. there is evidence that Jesus walked the earth. You human beings basically desire to not have self belief so as which you will pass on sinning." final time I checked, not something grow to be specific, and you have not any thought how human beings might react. What are you, 12? there is not any evidence, in any different case, everybody may well be christian. And in case you think of that have been doing it just to "sin" it is not significant, because of the fact we don't think in sin. It basically makes you a prejudice SOB and that i wish you get banned.

Darwin said it all with a statement that went something like "does God have a hand in the death of a gnat as it becomes a meal for a sparrow". It comes down to the idea, do you really believe that there is an entity dictating every turn of every living thing on the planet, every lightening bolt that strikes down every tree, beast, man... Every freak accident. that's a pretty well organized and well, busy supreme being. there is the theory that God, if one exists, perhaps just set everything in motion and lets it run it's course, not having a hand in every minute detail.

Adam & Eve screwed it for everyone to where God said that to 120yrs one shall live but Jesus came to give everlasting life therefore if people are still dieing then God has nothing to do with death... i'm not a christian but what I have said is biblical, if the bible is your source of truth don't you think you should read it?

Actually before one descends into the material/physical plane one [the spirit] chooses what type of life one is going to have; who one is to meet, know, or love; where one will be born; to whom one will be born; and of course how and when one will die. God does not choose for us [sometimes but not always].

God decides our death right after he has given us our destiny and right before we are created.... which means that right before we were born our stay here on earth has already been decided.. we are destined to love God but in different ways and itensities.....

Their lessons on earth have been learned. They have completed the journey that was chosen for them. It is then time to return to God to choose their next reincarnation or no reincarnation at all. The choice belongs to the soul. God is the soul we aspire to become.

He doesnt decide the moment you are gonna die. It is all of his worlds events colliding all the time that produces such a result by chance Thats is called fate!

Supposing that there is a God, what makes you think that he decides when people die? Perhaps he leaves it to chance.
