How do I handle this?

I recently noticed that $40 have ben taken out of my money tin I have in my room. He has taken money before and it had been returned. (he did this to his brother) Well I must have asked it in the wrong way because now my family is thinking I misplaced the moeny. He was in my room saying the family cat ran under my bed. When he left I found $40 missing. I confronted his mother (my aunt) and things went downhill from there. Next thing I know I may have misplaced the money and blamed him, I may have spent the moeny. After the blow up she gives me $50 plus dollars and throws the rest of her money at me. I gave her the money back but she stil made me feel like a heel about it. I told her from now ON I will NOT mention anything if I find more missing. EVER. They still think its me misplacing it. How do I handle this? Yes I should not assume but he has done this before. I am thinking of getting a metal box with a key....or just depositing all money in the bank except for $10. any ideas?

I've never been in a situation like that before. It sounds very confusing. But the idea of putting your money in the bank sounds like a really good idea. Good luck. Hope things work out for you soon.
