The world is not a black and white place. There's shades of gray, and also a little thing I call color.
I may have faith in my own deities and the ideology of my religion, but that does not mean that I'm going to be an irrational idiot and ignore science. I like science. I'm in a science academy, in fact.
Neither do you see ambulances rushing to local laboratories. It must be that ampicillan that they mix into the agar solution they pour into the bacterial culture plates.

I don't see why the two are always considered mutually exclusive. I mean, if Christians and others believe that God created the world and everything in it, why would they not accept that we are able to understand it through science?
Science is not the enemy or opposite of God, and God is not the enemy or opposite of science.
Einstein was a devout Jew and the greatest scientist of history.
I really think that the two can go hand in hand.... I am not a christian (or in any other organzied religion) but I do believe in god. I also have faith in science and am happy that we have a better understanding of our world because of that.

You can't have "Faith" in science.
Besides, Science is only what man has discovered. It is man's interpretation of the truth.
To you Science believers, answer me this: How come you can't turn something dead into something living? How can one perceive the miracle of life? Can one grasp how two little cells can turn into a human being?
Science is not against God, Science and God go hand-in-hand. How could Science have been created just by random activity?
God is the Truth. Science is man's interpretation of the Truth.
I'll stick to God's way. :)

I believe science is in some respects the discovery of God. It is through science that we can see how much of a miracle life really is. Who but God could create the complexities of the body, the growth of a seed into a flower, the natural balance of the world. Science reinforces the existence of God.

To me, my god is science, or the set of objective rules that orders the universe. I have absolute faith that tomorrow all these rules, like gravity, conservation of mass, momentutum and energy and all the other ones that make life possible will still be in effect. This makes me very happy.

I can accept proven science and still believe in God... I just do not accept FABLES that are offered in the name of science. Some arrogant scientists says this and that is solid fact, only to later on have his theories debunked. Even Einstein felt the universe was static and not growing, yet a Catholic Priest theorieze the universe was expanding, and the Hubble Telescope has proved the Priest was right.
Dan. 1: 4 Children in whom was no blemish, but well favoured, and skilful in all wisdom, and cunning in knowledge, and understanding science, and such as had ability in them to stand in the king’s palace, and whom they might teach the learning and the tongue of the Chaldeans.
1 Tim. 6: 20 O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:

neither, can't really prove everything in science and you can't prove there is a god. It's the basic faith in the present, but can we even believe that? I've seen a few ambulances at churches. it's just the cooincedence of having an accident at 9am, I kept having cuts on my fingers at church, when I went, don't anymore, but not for that reason.

You can't have faith in science because it is quantifiable, tangible and objective. There is no faith involved.
God, on the other hand is solely a matter of faith. You either believe or you don't - proof of God's existence is purely subjective.

Faith is the belief in something that cannot be proven, like god. Science is facts and theories, and these can be proven true or false, which then advances our knowledge of the universe. Faith simply believes in tales that primitive man told many thousand of years ago.
