If you only have a few, you can have laser treatments. I am having it done now and my doctor said it is not considered "cosmetic" for insurance purposes; it is a form of acne (usually hereditary). He put a solvent in the area to numb it, then injected a laser needle 3 to 5 pricks per large pore (depending on how big the open pore is). It feels like a bee sting but not as excruciating. The downfall is that you will have a raised (plump) scab on your face which you need to keep moist and will fall off after one week (I put cover-up over mine and it was hardly noticeable). In 6 to 8 weeks the pore will close up, but the doctor warned me that if I don't use sunscreen and I get a burn or tan on my face, there may be discoloration like a brown sun spot.

Sorry to say u will always have large pores. There is no product that will make your pores smaller. Getting professional facials and using a good home care regimine will help make the pores appear smaller as well as a good line of makeup. Try loose powders for foundation instead of liquid and a clay mask on cheeks to draw out the excess oil and dirt which will only harbor into the pores making them appear bigger.

I am guessing you have coarser hair on your legs. When you shave the hair is still in the follicle and under the skin. Its just cut off right before the top of the skin. Remove the hair and the pore will shrink a little. There will be nothing to stretch it. Best advice is to wax, and if you can afford it, laser. Its the only think. There are no magic creams out there.
