According to my dream interpretation book, a lion signifies a braggart, a snake-- cleverness, and a bull-- narrow mindedness. My guess is that someone, possibly even you, has been telling some things that aren't quite true. It will be all right though, because the lies won't really harm you. You manage to come through without anyone actually believing anything bad about you. Maybe you're just thinking of padding your resume or building yourself up a little for an on-line chat. Don't do it.

To dream that you are being chased, signifies that you are avoiding a situation that you do not think is conquerable. It is often a metaphor for some form of insecurity. In particular, to dream that you are chased by an animal, represents your own unexpressed and unacknowledged anger which is being projected onto that animal. Alternatively, you may be running away from a primal urge or fear. To see a tiger in your dream, symbolizes repressed feelings or emotions that frighten you. Alternatively, the tiger represents female sexuality, aggression, and seduction. If the tiger is in a cage, then it suggests that those repressed feelings/emotions are on the verge of surfacing.

Biblically, the different animals represent different aspects of spiritual warfare from the spiritual realm. Serpent represents that aspect which uses lies and deceit. The bull represents an aspect which is strong, powerful, and oppressive. While the lion represents and aspect which seeks out the weak prey and pounces on them and devours them. These are what your dreams mean.

It probably means that you have an overactive imagination, or that your body was tired and your brain wasn't.

Usually dreams that possess significant meaning continue occuring for a while, and are a bit more realistic. And, since I doubt that there's a severe lion problem where you live, I would assume that it was just a random dream.
