Opposites attract because we subconsciously seek what we are missing. At their best, the opposite is strong where you are weak and vice versa, so you can truly be there for one another.

However, opposites create a lot of fighting as well.

The only way it works is with a lot of communication and give and take. You both have to be willing to budge on issues; otherwise, it will not be a happy relationship.

It certainly holds true in my situation. As a woman with three cats (all females, yikes!) I meet no other cat fanciers. Seems everybody loves a dog.
