Dring at least 8 glasses of water a day. Have a small breakfast, large lunch , and then a small to medium dinner. If you eat the bulk of your calories at noon, your body will have more time to burn them. Also try a low carb not a no carb diet. With age, your metabolism slows down a lot. Replacing soda with water will help a person lose 20 pounds in one year.

I completely agree, I am starting to realize the same thing! What I did was talked to a Dietitian on my lifestyle of exercising and dieting and had her help me with what not to eat and that helped me so much! On spending up metabolism, really I am not for sure but eating high protein foods, no sugars and salts, and exercising regular is what helped me the most!!! Here are some websites that might help more too!!!

If you eat 5 small meals a day instead of 3 large ones, it will kickstart your metabolism, forcing it to work harder.
