I have been casually browsing around this category, and within meaningful questions, I notice many disobliging answers from blatant athiest users, who typically respond with something along the lines of "God is made up," "There is no God, "All imaginary."

Not to be rude, but why do you impose such worthless and unhelpful comments? Do you find faith as some atrocious act, in which you must openly respond to profess that you are correct? It makes me laugh at your hypocrisy, and you know who you are.

Many religious folks ask dilligent questions, and the least to their liking is to recieve a comment from an athiest blasting their beliefs. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against athiests, but on here, please put past your silly callow remarks, or have nothing to say at all.

Thanks.

I fully concur with your observation. Touring this section has given me a real insight into the hearts and minds and characters of many (if not most) of them and also confirmed what I've always known deep down about atheists in general. Though it is true that not all atheists are like that. Some are very decent people who search intelligently for the truth. But many more have a-priori reasons for holding the belief that they do. And the most core of those motivations are usually banal, as can be easily seen by the kinds of vulgar answers that are given to certain questions.

Also, have you noticed how deep questions that causes them to really think about their beliefs, or questions that shine light on a very uncomfortable truth, rarely get many answers? They tend to be avoided. And this one is a good example of it.

First of all, theists don't ask very many intelligent questions. Much of what they ask presupposes the existence of God, so, against such ridiculous logic, it is often tempting to ridicule them. Furthermore, we do not find faith anymore an atrocious act than thiests find reason and logic atrocious, which again causes us to ridicule them. I never answer with "Because there is no God," unless the answer is that obvious, which sometimes it is.

Just remember hypocrisy stems from religious insanity where common sense is rarely used.

Doesn't seem any worse then the religious people who go over to the gay and lesbian section to preach and condemn...

At least "there is no god" is one short line...unlike many believers who like to cut and paste paragraphs of preaching and threatening with hellfire. Geez...people can dish it out but they can't take it can they...

"Faith" is indeed an atrocious act, an assault on reason and common sense, an attack on truth and reality.
