How can anyone defend illegal residents without any type
of documentation living in our country?

Businesses do it everyday. Businesses are saying we would rather hire someone illegal than pay a legal person a living wage.My advice every time you hear of a company doing this you stop doing business with this company. This week ICE raided McDonalds throughout Nevada. They came away with 20 to 30 illegals at like 5 restaurants. I had started noticing it was getting harder and harder to order at McDonalds. I know why. I don't speak Spanish. I no longer go to McDonalds. I know they aren't by themselves.Even politicians do it. guest worker programs. Amnesty.Sound familiar. Believe it or not illegals have more rights than you. Most states are considering giving out drivers license. Right now in most states a never before license driver has to take Social Security card and Birth Certificate. Most states are going to give licenses to illegals on their say so. Just give DMV a name and that's what will call. You and me can't do that.How much more money do you think you would be making if all you paid was sales tax? I am looking at a raise of $416 every 2 weeks. You know what I could do with that. Cadillac,Hummer or BMW. I think the $832 monthly would cover any of those payments plus insurance.

Illegal immigration is a Made in USA problem. They would not be here if US employers did not flaunt the laws regarding hiring illegal immigrants. You cannot blame poor people coming to fill jobs if there are employers that are willing to ignore the law. It is the fault of the people who are supposed to command the departments that enforce the laws against hiring these people. And it seems the level of workplace enforcement dropped big time in 2001. As well, people like the US Chamber of Commerce are using every legal trick they can find to stop enforcement from occurring. They filed suit yet again last week delaying the implementation of the eE-Verify system yet again. This is a problem that was made at the highest levels of the US business and political communities around 2001 and we have this huge mess today.

None of us can defend illegals in this or any other country because it is illegal. We can feel sorry , have compassiom for them, but, coming here with intention of live and working without the right authorization is breaking the laws we have, even if they are good people in need of better opportunities.

The Democrats and Bush love Illegal Aliens. I have not heard Hillary, Obama or Edwards mention a dam thing about Illegal Aliens. So I guess these 3 BUMS are courting the Illegal Votes,. Anyone who who votes Democrat is supporting Illegal Trespass.

what is there to defend? They are here unlawfully....but lets make one thing perfectly clear...they are not entirely at fault....you want to stop the flow of illegals into this country? Then we need to go after Corporate America and the employers who hire them...as well as the politicians who refuse to listen and serve their own citizens...
EDIT- And for you historians out there who are spouting off about Christopher Columbus...umm...that was 1492...this is 2007...please catch up...

How anyone could defend a criminal illegal alien is beyond me. They have done wrong and deserve nothing from our country except deportation.

What do you think this country was founded by?? What about when the Irish came over because of the famine, or the Italians, Germans, Japanese, Chinese, Iranians, English, Australians, Haitians, Cubans, Spaniards, French, Africans, they all just came over in a different time period. Get a grip are you washing dishes, cleaning hotel rooms, doing construction work, coal mining? I doubt it.
You are only "documented" now because your ancestors came here in a different era, but believe me one time your ancestors were "illegal aliens" also. The people that were here when the "Mayflower" came over were native Indians and Mexicans!
