Whether you like it or not Christianity is a religion, a religion that follows and worships Christ. If you wish to separate yourself from Christianity then IMO you are not worshipping in truth. This "RELIGION" that you speak of was began by Christ with himself as the cornerstone and the 12 disciples as the foundation. Jesus used construction terminology because that is exactly His intent which was to build a Church. This Church was endowed with all that is necessary for it to endure until the end of the age without the gates of hell ever prevailing against it. This Church is the pillar and the ground of the truth and the protector of that truth for all times against the false teachers to come from within and without stealing the faithful like ravaging wolves. When I encounter people who blame Christ's Church for restricting the faithful from private interpretation, I simply ask them to look in a mirror to find the true blame.

Steve Amato,
Of course none of the things you accuse theChrist's Church of are true. Why do you think it is better to worship in a Church that does not have the corporeal Christ to worship, deny His miracle of the Eucharist and disregard the teaching that unless one receives His body and blood they have no life in them. St. Paul explained that if one does not discern His corporeal presence then they bring condemnation on themselves. Are you really comfortable worshipping in a Church like that?

Makemeaspark,
Remember the parable of the seeds. We in Christ's Church are called to spread the seeds in hope that they will fall on fertile ground prepared by the Spirit.

So from this we must conclude that the ONLY truly non-denominational, fundamentalist, evangelical, universal, full-gospel church ... is the Catholic church.

Yes, I agree with you that Christianity is a religion in and of itself. And yes, just today I was thinking how I have not joined a specific Church; I adhere to Christ's Church and thinking along with the faith He teaches us and all His commandments. So many people are narrow-minded and just have to believe, 'my way or no way' (their own way; not Christ's). I've been put down when an answer contains "because God said it". What else matters? If God said it, I do believe it. Praise God and blessings to anyone who spreads the good Word and stands up for Christ, without falling.

Non-denominational church ad-hear to their own interpretations of the scriptures. The only thing they have in common with main stream christianity is that they believe jesus is god. Some do not believe in the trinity. some do not believe in the virgin birth. Most do not accept the pope as the head of the church and the infallibility of the pope.

Christ also used the analogy of a tree, on The Way of His Cross, and this one, I believe, is the window through which we may embrace our Christian brethren. Branches, leaves,...sometimes those branches break off in a strong wind, and sometimes Christ prunes it, and sometimes he grafts another type onto it, and sometimes, when it doesn't bear fruit, He curses it.

Jesus, in the garden of Gethsemane was and ear mender, and we are called also to mend the ears of our separated brethren, to show them the love of God and the mercy of the church. We are called to speak the truth in love.
Please be careful here how you speak to the brothers and sisters in Christ here and do not push them away from the truth. But draw them toward the love of God.

The Catholic Church is not Christ's church but rather a heretical deviation from Biblical Christianity introducing such heresies transmuting Christ into a pieced of bread, recrucifying Christ on a weekly basis, making salvation dependent upon ritual and many other things. If anyone reads the Bible it's obvious that the reformation was necessary.
Furthermore Christ's church is not an institution but a corporate body composed of all believers in the Biblical Christ. (It may even containa few catholics!)
