For the last week, I've been changing my really bad sugar-filled diet to one that is higher in protein (I didn't eat much before) and veggies, while staying away from any white-flour or refined sugar.
But, I feel like I'm gaining weight! How is that possible? (I'm pretty active too, and only taking public transportation.)

if u dont burn more calories than u eat u will gain weight. you have to burn a significant amount more colories than u eat to loose weight. and u should only lose a pound a week to be healthfully be loosing weight. but the added protien could be building muscle and muscle weighs more than fat

Could you have PMS? I always gain weight before my period.
