I have a Windows XP and I want to take videos with my digital camera (Sony DSC-W80) and be able to edit and combine them for youtube. How do I go about this?

Win XP has an included movie editing program, called Windows Movie Maker. It's fairly basic, but it's free...and it's perfectly good enough to edit videos recorded by your digital camera.

I agree with Petra, Movie Maker will do the trick.

You'll need to Import your video clips into Movie Maker then drag them into the storyboard or timeline (bottom of window). As you work, save it as a project, but when it's finished save it as a PC movie and it will be compiled into a video that can be uploaded to YouTube.
