....Low mein is a Chinese dish that is made up of stir-fried wheat noodles. It also has stuff like pork, chicken, shrimp, veggies and beef. So...no I have no idea where you're getting the soybeans from.

It's actually Lo Mein. Lo Mein noodle is made out of flour. Most places, however, mix bean-sprouts when they prepare the dish with it. Perhaps that is what you are thinking of?
