Hi....
TRUTH?
NO truth in 'any' of the versions of the bible or qur'an, man-made, non-divine set of jumbled up texts, that were originally from former civilisations, for different 'gods'!!

I will Agree with most every one else.
The bible truths are real. Not different versions.
May be different langueges. Catholics add a few non-cannonical books, but for the most part, every thing is the same.
I actually get this question ALL the TIME!
It is because I am one of Jehovahs Witnesses.
People always say,"Well you have a different bible!"
My answere is please get your own copy of the bible and we will compare....It is always a win situation!!!!!!!
The bible is the Bible, world wide.
If i forget my bible sometimes, I travel for work, so that happens.
The Giddion Bible, well, it does not use Jehovah's personal name, but I can use all the scriptures to do my weekly study just the same.
Saint James. and a cute bible with hand drawn pictures I picked up at a Congregational Church years ago, they all work!

Different educational levels. For instance the American Standard Version is written on an 11th grade reading level. The New International is written on a 7th grade level. Many versions, but the same truth so that all may understand.

I know from personal awful reasons that the power of prayer works or belief in whatever is higher than me. Nobody on this earth can answer your question or we will cease to exist. A true believer is at peace with themselves and has no needto find out what you ask. Maybe somebody believes in their cat, so what, happy harming nobody, its their god.makes life good. Mere pond life like us have to accept you can bet what is to come will its all set out, we can change bad for good, but that is all. You will die after your time is up, so do a little living, keep an open mind. The only version is for each person. It may be a christian or any faith, but leading such a life usually makes us humble and realise we know nothing. We do not remember being born whats all that about being saved from trauma - who knows and death willl be the same. Lead a kind life and don t bother about other peoples bibles and truths. Thats cool and kind of wise.

The Bible is truth. All the different versions are all basically the same. They are written because of language change, new discoveries, but mostly to update language. The largest difference in them is whether or not they are literal or paraphrase. Literal are written for accuracy, paraphrase for ease of reading. You can find the truth in any one of the versions.

The versions have come along at different times and were basically meant to make God's Word easier to understand, since it was originally written in Greek and Hebrew.
I find the NIV the easiest to comprehend, but other versions are also very rich with meaning.
God bless!

Well, it´s very difficult that the Bible is 100%truth, because:
It was writen in a period of 1200 yaers
When it was tanslated to latin, there were 2 latin: vulgar and normal
In that time, the catolic church was dominating all the european and a little part of Middle East, and the priests used to burn the books they "consider" apocryphal and heretical.
So it´s very difficult that the real books one day appear, so a lot of people think they never exsit or doesn´t exist anymore.

Different "versions" are simply different translations. Whenever you translate something there's often more than one way to translate it an still be faithful to the meaning. I guess you never studied foreign languages.
