Have a look at Yahoo questions for example.
Even the unbelievers have plenty to say about Him. I find that fascinating since why bother talking about something or someone that in their opinion don't exist.

My question has nothing to do with religious sects. We all have free will to do what we like. I'm not questioning the motives whether hohmosexuals should gwt married or not. Yes, I'd question and fight evil in our midst. I never yet heard or seen the question, what's the devils motives. Why? In my opinion he keeps out the way so we don't question him, but he spreads his evil across the world but we refuse to see or acknowledge it. God on the other hand does good but many of us insult and degrade Him. That's what I find strange, not religious sects, gender or whatever beliefs peolple wish to adhere to.

Quite right. Like that Richard Dawkins and his book writing. If there is nothing there in your opinion, go away is what I do

Barnowl,
Your details indicate religious sects are not imposing on people's right. That is easily dispelled by can homosexuals get married? The answer is no. That is imposing on my rights and I am straight.

What am I suppose to be a mindless puppet and not question things? It doesn't work for me thanks after hearing about god so much I might as well just question it and its motives. I suppose if god did finally reveal himself and had a sword in hand I should get down on my knees and think that he's going to answer my prayers huh? honestly not a chance.

Because some people like to humanize God as if he was their next door neighbor and not a religious entity.

We do not question "god's" motives, since there is no god.
However, we do question the motives of those who claim they speak for "god", since they are trying to manipulate others into obeisance. And to escape the responsibility of their own actions. They are bullying control-freaks.
Well, the deluded have made their choices, but it is our responsibility to point out to them that they are deluded.

they're talking about existing IDEA, and it's difficult not to talk about it when you hear news, church bells, see crosses and other .. stuff .. all around ... religious people have all the right to practise and preach their religion, and when atheists claim their feelings and beliefs, there's always somebody who get offended .. WHY?
