Clearly by creating the Church with a particular structure and particular practices under the leadership of particular individuals with specific authority and responsibility it is Christ and Christ alone that has created this mindset in the Catholic faithful. There is no where else that they can appeal to the truth or receive what is necessary to assure eternal life. No church that has thrown Christ out of their worship both in corporeal presence and in focus of their worship can lay claim to anything but a marginal and accidental semblance of the truth that is held and protected in the Apostolic Churches for Christ gave His authority to no others. The gates of hell have not prevailed against His Church as the critics would proclaim but instead He is calling those home who are His and allowing all others to cry "Lord, Lord" as Christ acknowledges that He never knew them. Could it be that God allowed the tares to grow among the wheat for 1500 years and since has been preparing the harvest by separating them away to be burned bound in their bundles of denominationalism and independence? Sounds like the fruition of a parable to me.

Jesus established only one church, the one He founded on Peter, the rock. He prayed that all His followers would be one, and He promised that He would be with His Church until the end of the world. This was recognized by Saint Paul when he wrote:
"Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit -- just as you were called to one hope when you were called -- one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all" (Ephesians 4:3-6, NIV).
One faith means one set of beliefs, one set of doctrines; doctrines which never change. There is only one Catholic Church but there are over 26,000 Protestant denominations today; each separated from the other by differing doctrines. Each of these denominations can be traced back to a single individual who was not Saint Peter or one of the apostles.
Every Christian church possesses some of the truths revealed by our Lord but only the Catholic Church can trace its origins all the way back to Jesus and Saint Peter through the rite of ordination; the laying on of hands and passing on of episcopal responsibility and authority. Because only the Catholic Church can be traced all the way back to Jesus, only the Catholic Church can be said to possess all the revealed truth. After all, Jesus founded the Church, promised that the gates of hell would not prevail against it (which means that it would be perpetual and not teach error), and promised to be with it until the end of time. Not at the end of time, but continually until the end of time. Either the Catholic Church was and is the one true Church, or the Bible is wrong, or Jesus lied.

I believe that the true church is a composite of the whole body of Christ, who are corporately keepers of all the gifts and wisdom of God.
The RC church is the original church(along with the Orthodox) and contains the Vicar of Christ and more of the truth including the most manifest presence of God in teh world the Eucharist but it is not the only and sole true church of Jesus Christ.

The Catholic church does believe in one apostolic church*. The Catholic Church recognizes "one baptism for the forgiveness of sin" -- given by a Christian minister regardless of whether or not s/he is a Catholic.
The Catholic Church has traditions and practices that are ours and ours alone. We are entitled to find comfort and faith in those traditions as are all others who practice their faith.
*Check your research on the Catholic faith and its belief in "one apostolic" church or attend a Catholic Mass and listen to the congregation profess to this belief.

Any religion that claims to be the judge of truth with infailability is doomed to make a big mistake . Self righteous and conceited worship carry it's own downfall .
Hiding behind a pseudo god of ones own contrivance is dangerous and not the point of a good way of life .
