I am looking to order a HP Pavilion Desktop online. The only question I have is that if I order a Microsoft Office Home/Student 07 package, is it preinstalled, or do they send me the whole software package so I can install it myself?

Uh..from my experience. If it says that it's included (Microsoft Office 07 Included), they usually have it preinstalled. If they say that they have a different version installed, and if you would like to upgrade it to the Microsoft Office 07 package, then they usually have it given to you as a software package for you to keep. (sometimes they install it too and give it to you for backup purposes).

if you're still unsure, give the online site a call. Should be harmless, and they'll answer it for you.

Microsoft Office is on HP Pavilions. If you want to make sure just check with your dealer if you are personalizing the design of your computer.
