I'm sending my laptop off to get fixed. The copmany I'm sending it to said your probaly going to lose all the files on your laptop. My question is how do I save all the files on the laptop before I send it off ? A friend said you can save them to a CD, but I have no idea how. Can anyone tell me how to do this.

Just pull your files to your CD burner Icon the same way you would an a-drive icon and when you think it is just about full tell the computer to burn the files onto the disk.

U could desire to burn the CD utilising an appropriate application which incorporate Nero. Use the alternative "write a wisdom CD". extra advantageous purchase a USB stick because of the fact it is pointless to write down a single be conscious document onto a CD (a be conscious document has approximately 100KB of documents whilst a CD can carry 700MB)

you can either buy an external hard drive which is the simplest way or you can burn what ever you have into a cd or a dvd if you have a cd or a dvd burner.
