Depends on what pro means to you and then what are your needs.
Is a good idea to have a interchangeable lenses camera but if you cannot afford it you could think in a camera like sony V1 or Z1, you can attach lenses and filters.
Now if you can buy a canon xh1 you need to rent the lenses because they are very expensive.
About pro David Linch made a complete movie with a dsr-dp170 in auto.

depends on how rough service you will give your camera. if the lens mounts on the camera it is much easier to replace when broken, which is the main reason pro cameras have that feature. and if you break the camera part, you don't need to buy another lens for its replacement. good economy.
