You're not losing your rights...You're just letting them go.
Sit back and watch everything American just go down the drain. You don't elect political leaders, you cast your vote for those who have been chosen for you.
All those in Congress and the Senate who want to give the rights you are letting slip through your fingers without a struggle have been chosen by the higher ups in two political parties (1 out of two...WOW what a choice).
You are truly an idiot if you believe they 'represent' We the People. They are bought and paid for by the highest bidders and, in regard to millions of Mexicans pouring across our borders, Mexico is calling all the shots. Where do you think their oil money is really going. Export their undesirables, pay U.S. politicians to hold the doors open and we get to pay for taking care of them.

It's the same here in the UK but much worse. It feels like there's something going on that the ordinary person has no control of. It's like we are all being run by people with no common sense. I think it could be down to the migration of cheap labour to keep wages down as the banks have totally screwed up. For example, if we accept that the big corporations control most of what goes on then cheap labour coming in from any country to any country will keep there costs down without the need to relocate anywhere......Let them all in and let's not have the expense of relocating, Let them come here, flood the job market place and force wages down or sack the local workforce. I can't believe that the US is doing it too. Before reading this I thought it was just us in the UK that felt this way.

Because we've become too lazy as a people to do what we need to make our democracy work. We need to put in term limits 'cause we've become that lazy.
