Muahaha, satin, haha... You propose the sheets, surprising? Uhm, I used to think of that the chinese language invented a thank you to make satin (silk, it is), by skill of boiling particular coocooned caterpillars in water to get their ribbons. The bugs die, of direction, through fact of this no vegetarian (like me) will ever get something made out of silk. Now, why do you think of any god created (invented?) satin? And which god precisely? Aaaah, you're an American, I see, meaning you think of there is basically one god, Jachweh. ok, I actual have heard all forms of "surprising" thoughts approximately how great your Jachweh is, yet now he invented satin too? Now, it is new! Haha, nevertheless guffawing...

I think you mean Satan. Assuming that's what you meant--
Satan was originally a wonderful angel named Lucifer, God's biggest helper and highest-ranked angel. There is not a single shred of Earthly records when or why God created the angels, but thank heaven He did--my guardian angel protects me all the time! God believes in choices. He was kind and generous to give us the gift of life; isn't life a beautiful thing? So He gave us life, and didn't want to force us to make choices. Enter Satan. He did not create Satan for that purpose; he created Satan as an angel but Satan simply chose to turn away. Satan is an alternate to turn to but he will NOT help you, he will use you and violate you and lead you into hell.
I hope I wasn't too confusing and I didn't sound like I was rambling. When it comes to the God-Satan thing, it's very hard to describe.

You mean Satan.
God created Lucifer as one of two anointed Cherubim that cover the throne of God. Via free will, Lucifer chose to become like the Most High God and was cast out of heaven and became the devil or Satan.
