I've heard that if a guy grows a beard it means he's hiding something, what if he already has one when you meet him?Does that still apply? And is this always true?

Ok as a man who sometimes grows a beard can i say that what you have heard is utter nonsense.I grow a beard because i can't be bothered shaving. Some men grow beards because their partner (and some women in general) like men with beards. Some men may have a scar and that is when a beard is grown to hide something but i don't think that's what you are talking about.

There are countless old wives tail, and that happens to be one. You have to think common sense, when a person grows or has a beard, did you ever consider the fact that those guys like facial hair. As a guy, I like to have that stubby beard because I think it makes me look sexy to the ladies...thats what it is.....guys are just as conscious about looks as girls, maybe more or less.

It has nothing to do with lies and secrets, but what you should be aware of is when a guy changes his habits. Then, he could be hiding something. ALL RIGHT

No, this is absolutely wrong. I have never heard anything like this in my life. having a beard can be a style, and that does not mean that the person is hiding something. I was surprised by your question.

If a man doesn't have a beard does that mean he doesn't have facial hair? NO it's personal preference, some like to have it and actually look better with it, where others don't like it at all. Whoever told you this is an idiot.

I've never heard that. Having a beard is just personal preference. If he is willing to change, and loves you and all, then he'd probably shave. Unless, of course, you like that scruffy look.

It means the chances of his hiding something are about the same as yours because you have long hair. Of all the nonsense.......
