Or do you just think they put up with us because they love us? Doggy kissing is acceptable, but people kisses? EWWW! What do you think dogs think?

I think dogs just enjoy being around us and getting our love and affection, so they put up with it. I sometimes think my dog likes getting kisses though. She always tries to kiss me on or around my mouth though and she has some stinky breath, so I always try to avoid those ones!

I think dogs love any attention they get from the alfa member of the pack, you. Whether it be a kiss, and I do kiss my dogs, or a scratch of the ears or a rub on the butt. And I do let my dogs kiss me.

I've seen science experiements where dogs mouths are cleaner than humans. So no I don't have a problem with my dog licking my face, I also give her kisses too, on side of her face and what not but I don't let her tongue near my mouth....although dogs mouths are cleaner than ours she still licks herself and yeah thats fine when she licks my cheek she ain't touchin my lips lol

I think dogs appreciate attention from humans, whether it's kisses or petting or whatever.

My dog always acts content when I give her kisses. They know it is our way of affection just like they have their way of affection.
