Sadly I know more about many faiths then the practitioners at times. And they know NOTHING about mine.

Yes. I have studied Christianity, Judaism, different paths which fall under the general label of Paganism (their practices can be quite different compared to other pagan paths). Some simply don't hold my interest enough for me to study them and I can only claim a very limited knowledge of their inner workings, such as Islam and Buddhism (though that's not really a religion, but more of a philosophy).

Yes. I have found all of them to be very interesting. Some of the deities that are worshipped are representatives of the "true God." Thus, many folk who believe in God, are actually agreeing with my own faith. This I did not know until I "opened my mind" to other faiths. I will not discontinue my personal beliefs, but I do have a "new respect" for other folk's rights to theirs. What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? - Romans 8:31. The Lord daily loadeth us with BENEFITS, even the God of our salvation. - Psalm 68:19. Peace, Love and God Bless.

Absolutely. I love learning about what other people believe and why... I am very interested in religion and philosophy. I have already read the bible and I am 3/4 of the way through the koran, and I have done a lot of studying regarding christianity, islam, judaism, buddhism, paganism, agnosticism, and atheism.

Yes, I actively work on this. Right now I am going through the Qur'an. Previously I read about Buddhism and Hinduism. And I have read authors from parts of Christianity that have strong differences with my communion. And I've attended interfaith meetings near my home -- Muslims, Jews, and Christians.

Not really, but I do listen and learn when others speak of things that are happening due to one religion or another throughout our country and other countries of all these different religions I must admit Islam/Muslim practice disturbs my spirit the most they always claim peace and love till the numbers/majority is in their favor then thing seem to always change for the worse - unless your of their faith!

Yes, we have an interfaith group in our community. In addition to learning about my own faith, Catholicism, I have also learned a lot about and have learned to appreciate Judaism, Protestantism, Hinduism, Confucianism, Mormonism, etc...
I guess you could say I now have all theisms, LOL. :)

Certainly. But reading books is an inadequate preparation for the reality of religious belief on the ground.
To see how ghastly that is, you have to come here...

I have learned about them, but there is only so much time in a day and we do need to study our own faith.
